King’s X Frontman Offers Health Update

And I’m not sure if it’s good or bad. I can’t actually tell.

King’s X frontman Doug “Dug” Pinnick — who was rushed to the hospital November 23 after the band’s North Carolina show and may require further surgery and recovery from his hernia — is still unable to perform.

According to an update on Facebook from Pinnick:

“I spent yesterday at ER in Bay Shore hospital. The conclusion was a lymph node problem; they will decide what to do next, to operate or an alternative to fix this problem.”

I have no idea what that means, but it can’t be excellent. I am hoping it’s nothing bad, but dude…the nodes?

That’s usually something serious.

Pinnick previously said that the pain he felt during the Charlotte concert “was so bad I went into shock so they rushed me to the ER. We barely finished the show, but it was an awesome crowd and we had fun.”

He said that the “doctor said it could be life-threatening if I don’t get this taken care of.”

Of course, dude underwent hernia surgery July 3, having put it off because of a lack of healthcare.
