It’s true, kids.
While I was at work, Black Label Society revealed they’ve amicably parted ways with longtime guitarist Nick Catanese.
The remaining members of band, who “wish [Nick] the very best in his future musical endeavors,” added in a statement that a replacement would be revealed soon.
Zakk Wylde and the rest of his band are holed up in Wylde’s personal recording studio working on their next album, which is being prepared for a tentative April 2014 release through eOne Music.
I wonder what happened here.
This seems too sudden to not be the result of some sort of squabble.
Sounds like the sessions got stressed and Nick maybe said something he shouldn’t have said to Mr. Sensitive, and Zakk tossed his ass.
We can only speculate.
