Guardian Return After 10 Year Hiatus
It’s been ten years since Guardian hung up their helmets, but the veteran rockers are returning with a new record.
Called Almost Home, the album was released digitally today, through all online music retailers. The project was funded through a Kickstarter campaign, of course.
That’s just the way of the world, people.
The album took two years to make.
The record reunited vocalist Jamie Rowe with guitarist Tony Palacios, bassist David Bach, and drummer Karl Ney.
The new album was produced by veteran guitarist Jamey Perrenot, who also recently joined Guardian for a reunion tour of Latin America.
“This new record was a marathon… definitely not a sprint,” said Bach. “With lots of stops and starts along the way…and a few epic band fights thrown in for good measure.”
