Former Lostprophets Singer Moved To Monster Mansion, Inspires Tattoo
Ah yes, Monster Mansion — not a kid’s animated movie, but the new residence (for at least the next 35 years, or until he’s shivved in the showers) of Ian Watkins, erstwhile singer for defunct band Lostprophets.
Reports claim Watkins has been moved from HM Prison Parc in Bridgend, U.K., to the facility where he’ll be housed for the duration of his sentence.
Monster Mansion is the largest high security prison in the United Kingdom (and western Europe). It’s official name is HM Prison Wakefield in Wakefield, but within its walls lives a large number of incarcerated, high-risk sex offenders and murderers.
Its said that prisoner-on-prisoner violence in the prison is commonplace, so we can only hope jail justice is meted out.
In fact, a child abducting murderer was killed just this July by another inmate.
In related news, Ian’s face is now permanently emblazoned on someone’s skin.
Some idiot got Ian’s intake photo tatted on his leg.
That person deserves to be mocked.
