The trailer of Kingdom Hearts 3 was unveiled during the Electronic Entertainment Expo last June of 2013.

First of all, Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that the storyline of the Kingdom Hearts 3 will begin where the Dream Drop Distance has left off. He further revealed that they are now in the process of selecting an ideal world for the game. It is the Dark Seeker’s final episode that started with the original Kingdom Hearts game and it will depict the final end of the battle against Xehanort.
The visual style that was presented on the trailer reflects the amazing end result of the long period of trial and error that the team has done. According to Nomura, they have spent quite a long time in trying to figure out what direction to take with the Kingdom Heart’s visuals on the next generation. They are still debating on whether they will have to settle with a more realistic look such as the recent game series or if they will consider something different.
A lot of Kingdom Hearts fans are also wondering on how the game play will evolve on the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3. According to Nomura, they have the demo version of the game operating on the actual hardware.
However, the action is pretty frantic. The real bold action that they have always had is becoming crazier. He added further that the Kingdom Hearts 3 will have 3 person parties, although some characters might also join in the fight for each of the individual world in the game.
The resulting action is definitely exciting, and the enemy Al might appear a little more intricate. There are also enemies that are shaped like vehicle and Sora, the main character, might have to fly or jump over it.
What most fans are dying to know about the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 is the release date. But according to Nomura, it might take a bit of time before the game will be released to the public. Though he did not further elaborate when the estimated release date is, he promised that they will make the release date available to the public once they have that information available.
