The new and upcoming device from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S5, is set to be released this year.
According to some reports, the new device will come with several new and high end features and although this has not been confirmed by Samsung yet, these details are said to have come from a reliable source. On this report, it was also mentioned that the new device will be released with a 5.2 inch screen display.
An insider from KGI securities has forecasted that some of the best smartphone capabilities are all stuffed on this new Samsung Galaxy S5,which could make it to become iPhone 6’s best opponent. If rumors are true, both the Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 6 will be released this year. The analyst has also forecasted a number of specs and features and he also confirmed that the device will indeed be released with a 5.2 inch display and is set to be released in September of this year.
One of the best features that the new Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with is the fingerprint scanner. If you are familiar with the Apple 5S, the device is equipped with the TouchID technology, a feature that is similar to the fingerprint scanner. This is actually what made Samsung to decide that a fingerprint scanner should well be integrated on the new device that they are launching this year.
The analyst has also said that the fingerprint scanner technology will be among the main features of the mobile phone. Yet, contrary to what was reported in the past, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will not come with any eye reader or an iris scanner.
32-bit Processing Chip
Samsung fans have already conditioned themselves on the possibility that Samsung will come up with a device that resembles that of the iPhone 5S and might also come with a 64 bit mobile processing chip. But the analyst said that this is not the case for the new Samsung Galaxy S5 because Samsung is said to be sticking to a 32 bit processing chip for this new device. But just like its predecessors, the Galaxy S5 will be available in two new varieties, and the candidates are quad-core Qualcomm hardware or an Exynos chip.
5.2 Inch Screen
The new Samsung Galaxy S5 is also said to feature a 5.2 inch screen and a 1080p display. If this is really the case, then the new Galaxy S5 is indeed getting a slight upgrade this time around. As what the analyst has noted, there will be two major builds for the Samsung Galaxy S5, one is prime and another is standard, and the pixel density for these models will significantly differ from each other.
Those who are anticipating for the release of the new Samsung Galaxy S5 would have to wait until the last quarter of the year. Contrary to what was reported, the new device is actually set to be released in September of 2014, and not in March or April.
