The smartphone technology is rapidly evolving. Offering so many features for a fairly decent price, smartphones are definitely worth buying. But which smartphone should you choose?
This is a comparison between two of the best smartphones on the market.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2
With its 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display, the Note 2 is able to offer a 1280×720 resolution. It’s safe to say that its 2GB RAM and the quad-core 1.6 GHz processor can offer great performances for almost any task. As for the internal memory, the Galaxy Note 2 comes in 3 models: 16, 32 and 64GB and it can also support microSD cards up to 64GB.
The Galaxy Note 2 runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
An 8MP main camera and a 1.9MP secondary camera can be found on the Galaxy Note 2. The main camera has features such as LED flash and auto focus and besides that, it’s also rather easy to navigate its menu and features, thanks to the stylus pen which is also included in the Galaxy Note 2 package.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is available on Amazon for $384.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3
Even though it has a bigger 6.3 inch TFT (Thin-film-transistor) display, the Mega 6.3 offers the same 1280×720 resolution. Even though the 1.5GB RAM and its 1.7 GHz dual-core processor are weaker in comparison, the Mega 6.3 can still deliver good performances and it’s big screen is brilliant for playing videos and thanks to its 3200 mAH battery, the Mega 6.3 can play movies for 10 hours straight.
The Mega 6.3 is packed with an 8MP main camera and a 1.9MP secondary camera, and just like the Note 2, the main camera features auto focus and LED flash.
There is only a version of 16GB internal storage, but it can also be upgraded with an up to 64GB microSD card.
The Galaxy Mega 6.3 runs the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
That being said, the Note 2 is faster, but the Mega 6.3 has a bigger screen. Those are the two most noticeable differences. In the end, it’s all a matter of taste.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is available on Amazon for $399.
