Samsung Galaxy Alpha Release Date Speculation Along With Gorgeous Specs
A new version of Samsung Galaxy Alpha was noted running GFXBench with the model-number SM-A5000. The interesting thing about this new model is that the device comes powered by a processor of 64bit.
The specs and features of this smartphone were disclosed by a leaked picture of an evaluation test. After we’ve seen the specs the device seems to be the embellished version of Galaxy Alpha.
Due to a GSMArena report, the new edition comes with a display of 4.8inches and a resolution of 720p. Also, the device is bundled with 2 GB of RAM an built-in memory storage of 8 GB.
The leaked photos point out that the device has Adreno 306 graphics, which is a certain hint that the SoC existent on the new model is QUALCOMM Snapdragon 410. That is its first processor of 64bit.
This processor is a Quad Core, developed especially for average phones. However, the Galaxy Alpha SM-A5000 edition will be released as a mid-range smartphone.
The Snapdragon 410 chipset is found on Cortex-A53 and it provides a rate up to 1.4 GHh, although from the leaked images it is shown that it is clocked at 1.2 GHz. It also discloses that the device will sport a primary camera of 12 MP and a 4.7 MP secondary shooter, which will have the capability to record at full HD video. Other features for the camera are LED flash, autofocus and touch-focus.
When it comes to connectivity, the device will provide Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS support. It would definitely have the 3G connectivity, but there is no information about another connectivity option (4G, LTE or NFC). The other specs of this handset include that it runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat version, and it will feature a compass and gyroscope.
The actual Galaxy Alpha comes packed with a display of 4.7inches that is Super AMOLED and it is powered by a processor Exynos 5 Octa 5430 quad core Cortex-A15 clocked at 1.8 GHz and quad core Cortex A7 at 1.3 GHz. Also, the device is paired with Mali-T628MP6 graphics. The Galaxy Alpha is now available for preorder only in United Kingdom and it will be soon purchasable by the 12 of September.
The new version, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha SM-A5000 will be officially uncovered later this year.
