Huawei Ascend P7 vs LG G Flex vs Asus Zenfone 6 – Gorgeous Specs and Price Comparison
In this article we’re focusing on two phablets – one has a curved body, and the third competitor is a smartphone with some features that can’t be neglected.
Asus Zenfone 6
This massive phablet is available in four shades: charcoal black, pearl white, cherry red and champagne gold, has large bezels on the sides of its body, the capacitive buttons are located under the screen, and below them you’ll see the wide metal strip. The volume rocker and the power button are located on the right edge and they’re made of metal, the microUSB port is at the bottom, where you’ll also find the microphone, while the 3.5mm headset jack was placed at the top. The phone has a 6inches IPS display with 720x1280pixels and 245ppi, it’s protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the dimensions of the device are 166.9×84.3×9.9mm.
The phone weights 196grams. It runs on a dual core processor clocked at 2GHz, based on an Intel Atom Z2580 chipset which supports a PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU and 1 or 2 GB of RAM, depending on the variant. There are also three variants of internal storage: 8/16/32 GB, which can be expanded up to 64GB. The phone runs initially on Android v4.3 (Jelly Bean) and it can be upgraded to v4.4.2 (KitKat), plus there’s a layer of ASUS Zen UI on top of it. Huaweii Ascend P7
The Ascend P7 has a smaller display of 5inches which uses IPS LCD technology and it supports a resolution of 1080x1920pixels and 441ppi. The screen benefits from Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and the back has a spin effect texture finish, resulted from a “7-layer surface treatment using a micro-pattern design”. The phone weights 124grams and it measures 139.8×68.8×6.5mm. It’s powered by a quad core Cortex A9 processor, clocked at 1.8GHz, supported by a HiSilicon Kirin 910T chipset and uses a Mali-450MP4 GPU. It has an internal memory of 16GB, expandable up to 64GB and it runs on Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) with 2GB of RAM. There is a back camera of 13MP with 4160x 3120pixels, autofocus, LED flash, face and smile detection, HDR and other useful features, it records at 1080p@30fps and you’ll be more than satisfied with the 8MP camera on the front. LG G Flex
The Flex has a polycarbonate shell just like the G2, but it has a curvature of 700 mm and the display is also curved (Curved P-OLED), being protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The interesting thing about the back panel is that is has a self healing coating. The screen measures 6 inches, it supports a resolution of 720x1280pixels and 245ppi, the body sizes are 160.5×81.6×8.7mm and the device is weighting 177grams. This interesting phone is powered by a quad core 2.36GHz Krait 400 processor, based on a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset and uses an Adreno 330 GPU; it hosts 32GB of built in storage, which isn’t expandable, and it runs on Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with Optimis 3.0 UI on top of it and with 2GB of RAM. The rear camera is 13MP with similar features and the secondary camera is 2.1MP. The battery has a capacity of 3500 mAh battery and it’s non-removable. The pricing for this phone is 514 dollars.
Between the three phones, the Ascend is the best because it has a greater screen resolution, a better secondary camera and a quad core processor, although the clock speed isn’t the highest.
