New reports suggest that the upcoming Nexus 6, Nexus 8.9 and the new Android OS will be finally released on November 1, 2014.
According to Android Authority, two of their sources that are familiar with Google’s plans, informed them that the upcoming Nexus 6 will start rolling at the beginning of November, this year. They added that Google will hold an event on October 16, where they will reveal three products: the latest software, Nexus 6 and Nexus 8/9.
Most likely, the software will be the next Android version, the Android L, which is rumored to be the 5.0 version of Android.
Android L or Android 5.0 L will be unveiled to public on the third Thursday of October. However, the new version will not be immediately available for the Android devices. The users will have to wait a few more weeks before they can get their “hands” on the new expected OS. Google said that the new OS will be more powerful and that it will support 64bits mobile computing.
In concordance with Android Authority sources, Android L will be official launched on November 1, when Nexus 8/9 will be released and will feature the new OS. Along with Nexus 8/9, there will be another phone, but the source of the report wasn’t specific enough on its name. However, they’re probably talking about the Nexus smartphone, which is rumored to be named Nexus 6 or Nexus X.
If these rumors are true, the Android fans will probably have one of the best Halloweens ever, with two new Android phones, Nexus 6 and Nexus 8, and a new Android OS version.
We will get more answers on October 16, when Google is planning to hold this great event and hopefully we will see if these rumors prove to be correct.
