Many Windows 9 reports suggest that Microsoft is thinking of releasing their upcoming OS as free of charge for some of the current Windows users. While some reports say that those who own Windows 8 will get Windows 9 for free, others say that the Windows XP users will get some sort of special offers – discounts, while others are more reticent or don’t believe these rumors are true. With other words, the current Windows 8 users will be able to download and install Windows 9 from Microsoft, as soon as it gets released. It’s not yet certain what will happen with those users who have older Windows versions, such as the Windows 7 or Windows XP. Since Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, there are rumors saying that the Windows XP users will get a discount when buying Windows 9, making them to move to the new version of Windows.
