The Korean giant, Samsung, gained quite a respect in the smartphone arena with its variety of smartphones.
However, after initial hiccups, the company established itself in the tablet segment. The latest release from the company in the Tab series, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 comes equipped with Intel processors. It is the first handset from the company to receive the Intel treatment. The 1.6GHz Atom with Clover Trail technology is a different approach from the ARM-based stuff, usually used by the company. However, the Korean giant hopes that the tablet stays in the market for a long time.
The Korean giant started the year 2014 with all guns blazing. The release of its Tab Pro range is bliss for people looking for no-compromise Android-based tablet. The smallest in the Tab Pro range, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 comes in a lightweight design with a high-end spec sheet. The handset is available at a price of $400. Let us compare the two handsets in terms of their camera specs, in order to offer the potential buyer with a better shooter in the tablet segment.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1
The tablet comes equipped with dual camera features. The 3.2MP primary snapper of the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 handset does not boast of anything spectacular. The snapper produces images lacking fine details and vibrant colors. In terms of low lighting performance, the handset proves to be a poor performer.
Video Recording: In terms of video capturing quality, the 720p video recording feature offers similar results as that of still photography. Apart from the quick capturing rate, there is not much to boast about the video recording feature.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4
In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 boasts of a decent primary snapper. The 8MP camera comes equipped with LED flash and auto-focus features. The camera comes equipped with rich modes and settings, which makes the snapper a better prospective than Tab 3 10.1 handset. The camera is competent to do fancy stuff such as burst shooting, erasing moving objects from the frame and picking the best snap from multiple shots.
Additional features such as HDR, time-lapse videos, Panorama and more marks the difference between the Pro 8.4 and the Tab 3 10.1 handset. However, the Pro 8.4 does not come equipped with 4K video support and slow-motion video recording feature. However, these features were not anticipated on a tablet anyway.
