Nexus 6 Release with Android Licorice For 450 dollars
There are a few days until Nexus 6 will be unveiled and new reports suggest that the device will be powered by Android Licorice (5.0).
KitKat gets replaced by Licorice
Licorice is the upcoming Android OS and that’s not something new. Back in June, Google introduced it at the I/O Developers Conference. Giovanni Calabrese is the man commissioned by Google to design the giant Android sculptures that are in Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California. In concordance with BGR, it seems that Google has a new project for Calabrese, which involves an Android sculpture project and the artist provided some hints which point the next Android sugary name, in a recent Google+ post, where he said that he never had the great liking for Licorice and he thinks that its tastes great.
Calabrese also revealed that his project with Google is a done deal, which points that the search giant will keep the name for the next Android as Licorice.
Nexus 6 features and price
One of the first devices that will come with Android Licorice is Nexus 6, which is a second generation of Moto X. The Nexus 6 will come with a 5.9inch screen size that supports a resolution of 2560x1440pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 805 clocked at 2.7GHz and 3GB of RAM. It will also feature 32GB internal memory and a main camera of 13MP with OIS and a 2.1MP secondary camera, along with a 3200mAh battery and the case will be made from aluminum.
