The Galaxy Core handset is a decent offering from Samsung. The handset has enough to fight it out in the gruesome smartphone battle prevalent in the market. The user interface offers a similar experience as that of its predecessors. The handset offers three sizes in Live Tiles – small, medium and large. The handset offers a smooth and lag free functionality.

Nokia may not be able to differentiate its handset in terms of Windows Phone 8 appearance, but the handset comes equipped with a plethora of applications. All the apps come free of cost.

Samsung Galaxy Core

Android Jelly Bean version 4.1 operating system runs the Samsung Galaxy Core handset. The TouchWiz UI accompanies the OS to offer the user with a smooth and lag free performance of the handset.

In terms of functionality, the handset offers the user with smooth typing experience, responsive swipe gestures and ability to add shortcuts from the locked screen. The dual SIM functionality adds icing to the cake.

The Adreno 305 graphic processor along with 512MB RAM ensures smooth performance of the handset. Samsung Galaxy Core

The Galaxy Core runs on the entry-level Snapdragon S4 chipset along with dual core Cortex A5 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz. The Adreno 203 graphic processor along with a RAM of 1GB ensures smooth functioning of the smartphone. The handset comprises of 8GB of internal memory, expandable up to 64GB through a microSD card.
