Operating System

The Air comes with OS X, which is developed by Apple. The OS X Yosemite software, to be more precise. The other device uses Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 operating system. Trying to swap operating systems can be tricky, but can be done. This means that you are able to run Windows on a Mac computer, and also run OS X on Yoga 3, which is very hard, but doable.

The Lenovo Yoga 3 is retailed at about $1299 while the MacBook Air is around $899. It’s upt to you to decide if the extra cash is worth the device, although most would agree that it is.
