Nokia Lumia 535 vs Motorola Moto E – What Do You Get When Money Is An Issue?
Fr those of you that are on a tight budget or simply have too many expenses to be able to invest in a premium smartphone, know that there are decent phones that come as a solution to your problem. Such budget phones are the Motorola Moto E and the Nokia Lumia 535.
The Motorola Moto E is similar to the Moto G in terms of design, as it features a curved back cover and a very thin bezel. The design is the same in both the upper and bottom parts of the phone, meaning that it may be tricky sometimes in finding which way is up at times. The device comes in black and white variants.
The Nokia Lumia 525 on the other hand is the heavier device, but also the slimmest, with only 8.8 mm in thickness. The device comes in more than just black and white color variants, as the line includes a rich collection of colors such as orange, blue, grey or green.
The resolution for both devices is 960 x 540. The screen on the Lumia 535 measures 5 inches and uses a 220 ppi pixel density. The Moto E on the other hand comes with a 4.3 inch screen and a 220 ppi ixel density.
According to GSM Arena, the devices are very similar in terms of specifications, but still have their differences. Starting with the processor, both devices run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processing unit, clocked in both cases at 1.2 GHz. He similarities don’t stop here, as they also share the amount of RAM they are using, which is 1 GB. The differences can be observed when it comes to internal torage, as the Moto E comes with 4 GB of internal storage and the Nokia Lumia 525 features 8 GB of space. Both phones offer the possibility of extending this capacity through a microSD card, but the memory cap differs. The Lumia 525 allows a total of 128 GB while the Moto E can sustain 64 GB.
With a 5 MP camera on the back, but also in the front, the Nokia Lumia 525 offers impressive quality for selfies. The Moto E lacks a front facing camera but comes with the same 5 MP shooter on the rear side.
The win here goes for the Motorola Moto E which comes on top of its opponent in this category thanks to the 1980 mAh battery unit that it houses. The Nokia Lumia 535 features a 1905 mAh battery that slightly falls behind the one offered by its competitor, but still offers a pretty good on time.
The Moto E is about $120 on Amazon.com while the Lumia 535 sells on the Indian market for about $148.
If you want the device with the better camera, bigger storage capacity and larger screen, there it shouldn’t be too much of a fuss, as the Nokia Lumia 535 should be the clear winner.
