Apple to Launch Female iPhone Model with 4 Inches Display
Apple is set to stop the production of some of its models in 2015.
Mainly, this includes the production of the iPhone 5C. Once the Cupertino based company discontinues the production of the handset, the iPhone 5S will be left as the only device by Apple, with a 4 inch display. Since female users prefer smaller handsets, at least in the mind of Apple, the company is considering the option to produce a female friendly model for next year.
iPhone 6 Mini?
One of the options for the new female friendly model is to be a mini version of the iPhone 6. The company believes that the 4.7 inch devices are a bit large for female users. Targeting them, Apple will build on the success of the iPhone 6, and produce a mini version.
Since the idea is to create a mini version of the iPhone 6, the new female friendly iPhone should follow the design lines of the original version. The only difference will be the size. This is the case with the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus as well. The mini version will stick to the curvier design, which has attracted many customers.
Price and Release Date Rumors
The new female friendly iPhone should hit the stores sometime in the second half of 2015. According to several sources, the new version of the iPhone should cost significantly less than the iPhone 6. At the moment, the iPhone 6 is priced at $650 for a SIM free version.
The Success of Phablets
Even though Apple is considering a launch of a smaller handset, that doesn’t mean the company is not satisfied with the sales of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. According to reports, the iPhone 6 Plus is outselling every other phablet on the market in the US, and already has a 41% of all phablet sales.
