Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Release Date And Best Specs
Samsung has released their budget Galaxy Core Prime smartphone in their store from India at a price of 9700 Indian Rupees, which is equivalent to 155 dollars. For now, the device is listed as “not in stock” and it’s not known when it will be.
Earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime was rumored to be released soon in India by Mahesh Telecom and back then the device was rumored to be priced at 9599 Indian Rupees. Flipkart e-commerce website listed this device at 8499 Indian Ruppes back in October, but it seems that the device was a bit more expensive than expected.
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and supports dual-SIM. It has a 4.5inch TFT display that supports a resolution of 480×900 pixels, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and it’s powered by a 2000 mAh battery.
The device has 8GB internal memory, but it can be expanded up to 64GB with a microSD card. As for the camera, it features a 5MP primary shooter on the rear side with autofocus and a 2MP secondary camera on the front side of the device. The connections that are supported by this device are: Wi-FI b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS, 3G and Bluetooth 4.0. The handset measures 130.8×67.9×8.8mm and has some metal sides, which make it look quite awesome.
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime comes in 3 color variants: White, Silver and Charcoal Grey. For users who can’t wait for the device to get in their local stores in India, they can buy it from eBay India at a cheaper price of only 9275 India Rupees which is equivalent of 149 dollars.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime will “fight” against Moto G (Gen 1), Moto E, Asus Zenfone 4 series, Xolo Selfie 50, Xolo One, Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Spice Dream UNO, Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1, Microsoft Lumia 535 and other low cost devices.
