The operating system is a point of the comparison where the Galaxy Grand Prime takes the edge, thanks to the fact that it features Android KitKat. The Galaxy Grand 2 comes with Android jelly Bean, which is a little outdated.
Starting with the Galaxy Grand 2, we have an 8 MP camera on the rear which uses a 3264 x 2448 resolution. The front facing camera has 1.9 MP, and the device is able to record 1080p video at 30fps. The Galaxy Grand Prime on the other hand comes with an 8 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP camera on the front, outmatching the specs on the Grand 2. The Grand Prime is also capable of 1080p video recording at a frame rate of 30fps.
