In order to fix some issues that were found on Android 5.0 Lollipop, Google has now released the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update which will fix all these problems (or at least some of them). According to Gospel Herald, the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update is currently available only for Nexus 10, Nexus 9, Nexus 7 2013, Nexus 7 2012, Nexus 6, Nexus 5, Nexus 4 and Google Play Edition devices such as HTC One M7, HTC One M8 and Moto G 2013.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop was shipped with the new Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 that were released back in October. In concordance with Gizmodo Australia, the Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with several issues and we will mention some below.

Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues

Android 5.0 Lollipop users claim that after installing the new OS on their devices, they had problems with the internet connections while others say that they can’t access the internet at all. Nexus 10 and Nexus 5 users are some of the users who had experienced a lot of connectivity issues.

Battery Problems

It seems that a lot of users complained about the battery life drain issue after updating to Android 5.0 Lollipop. According to Gizmodo Australia, the battery life problems are even more common than the Wi-Fi connection problems.

Device working slow and random crashing

According to Google, Android 5.0 Lollipop should make your device work even better than before. However there are several users which said that after installing Android 5.0 Lollipop on their device, they’ve noticed that the device is not running as smooth as it was before. In addition, some users say that the device randomly crashes from time to time.

Video Playback Problems

Nexus 7 2013 owners said that they have problems watching videos on YouTube as the device is unable to look for a video player.

Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update will fix some of the Android 5.0 Lollipop Issues

However, Google has been working real hard to fix these problems and they’ve already released Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, which will fix a good part of the Android 5.0 Lollipop bugs. In concordance with NDTV, this update will fix issues related to text messaging, random crashing, text messaging, Wi-Fi problems and more.
