Both of the devices were unveiled two months ago, but they’re finally available on the Indian market. The HTC One E9+, which comes in three color options (Meteor Grey, Classic Rose Gold and Gold Sepia) is a phablet that costs Rs. 36,790 ($576), while the Desire 326G is a mid-tier phone with two color variants (White Birch and Black Onyx) which costs Rs. 9,590 ($150).

Displays, designs and dimensions

The One E9+ has a plastic body with dual-tone coloring design like the HTC One M9, it’s extremely thin at 7.5mm, it has a height of 156.5mm and weights 150grams. The rear camera is situated near the top edge, in the middle, and has large rounded lens. The screen is sized at 5.5inches and supports a QHD resolution of 1440×2560 pixels with 534 ppi pixel density and which benefits from a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 as a protection against scratches.

The Desire 326G is much smaller and thicker, measuring 139.7×69.6×9.7 mm and having a weight of 146grams. Its screen is sized at 4.5inches and offers a resolution of 480×854 pixels at 218ppi, which is provided by many mid-range devices. The phone has also a plastic body with thick bezels and two dual speakers.

Here’s what to expect from the internal configuration of the One E9+: its processor has eight cores clocked at 2GHz, the chipset is Mediatek MT6795M built with the 64bit architecture, while the graphics are PowerVR G6200 and they’re paired with 3GB of RAM. The internal memory supports a capacity of 32GB and you can add a microSD card to get up to 128GB of storage.

The Desire 326G is powered by a weaker quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, based on a Spreadtrum SC7731G chipset and has 1GB of RAM and a only 8GB of internal memory, with the possibility to expand it up to 32GB.

Cameras and Batteries

The rear camera on the One E9+ is much more advanced, supporting a resolution of 20MP, but more important are the camera software and the features, so if you like taking photos vibrant photos, then you will use the HDR mode to get the best results. Also, for excellent selfies you can use the 8MP camera on the front side. The battery is non-removable and with a capacity of 2800 mAh which provides over 14 hours of talking time on 3G.

The Desire 326G has a back camera of 8MP and a front camera of 2MP. The battery is replaceable, with a capacity of 2000mAh and lasts 11 hours.
