According to GSM Arena, on June 11, Verizon will start selling the new Microsoft Lumia 735 device. Some earlier rumors said that the Lumia 735 will be released in the U.S. using the Nokia brand, but the latest rumors indicate that the smartphone will be released under the Microsoft brand.
According to some reports, the Microsoft Lumia 735 that will be released for the Verizon carrier will feature 4G LTE and CDMA and it will run on Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 OS. Until now, Verizon hasn’t given any information about the price that the Lumia 735 will have, but according to IBTimes, the device is being sold in the UK for around 245 dollars, which means that the price range will most likely be close to 245-250 dollars.
The Lumia 735 device comes with a 4.7inch display that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and 1GB of RAM. The device has an internal memory of 8GB which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. The Lumia 735 also features a primary camera of 6.7MP on the rear side and a 5MP secondary camera that’s found on the front side which is great for taking selfies.
Microsoft Lumia 940
The upcoming Lumia 940 device will feature a 5.2inch display, a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, an Adreno 420 GPU card, 3GB of RAM and it will have three storage variants of 32, 64 or 128GB. The primary camera will have 24MP, it will feature LED flash and will be able to record 4K @60 FPS. The secondary camera will be found on the front side of the device and it will have 5MP and be able to record at 1080p resolution.
Microsoft Lumia 940 XL
According to GSMArena, the upcoming Lumia 940 XL device will feature a 5.7inches display that will support a resolution of 1440x2560pixels at 515ppi and it will be protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device will come with an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, formed from a quad-core Cortex A57 clocked at 2GHz and quad-core Cortex A53 clocked at 1.5GHz and it be backed up by 3GB of RAM.
The device will have an internal memory of 32GB and it will not support a microSD card. The Lumia 940 XL will feature a primary camera of 20MP on the rear side and a 5MP secondary camera that will be found on the front side.
According to a well known technology leader named Evan Blass, also known as evleaks on Twitter, the upcoming Lumia 940 XL will feature an iris scanner that will be used for biometric authentication.
According to PC Advisor, the upcoming Lumia 940 will be priced somewhere around 620-720 dollars. For the users who wan to get the Lumia 940 XL device, they should add at least 150 dollars from the Lumia 940’s price.
