LINE v5.2.0 Download – Quality Free Calls and Engaging Features

Line was created by a team of Japanese engineers, it was launched in 2011, reaching 100 million users within 8 months, and today, it has 600 million active users, competing with Facebook Messenger. Initially, this application ran on Android and iOS smartphones, then it was available for BlackBerry, Nokia Asha, Windows Phone, Firefox OS, iOS tablets and computers running on Windows and Mac OS. A new version for Android has been released on June 8, and you can get it from the Google Play store.

Line is very popular in Asia and according to the estimations, by the end of 2015, the application will surpass 700 million active users. Line can check your phonebook to look for numbers that are registered to Line and to add them to the list of contacts, but there’s another way to add friends, which is by scanning QR codes, shaking phones simultaneously or knowing your friends’ Line IDs. The users will communicate through a direct pop-out message box, they can also send photos, videos, music, share their location, use emoticons, stickers and get a confirmation in real time that their messages are sent and received by their friends.

The users can make group chats with up to 200 members, and on their homepages they can post texts, photos and stickers. Also, they can check their friends’ activity on their homepages, where they can leave comments and like their posts. Snap movie is another feature that allows them to record a stop motion video and customize it with background music, while Hidden Chats will make the messages disappear after a time period (the sender can set a timer after which the message will vanish from his/her device and his/her friend’s device). The last feature that was added to Line is Popcorn buzz, which allows the users to make group calls with up to 200 people.

The latest version of Line, 5.2.0, came with an improved way to display sender names and messages on the notification window, it has an improved UI and the users can add certain groups to the “Favorite” category. Line supports in-app purchases, it uses the device’s microphone to record voice messages and has many other useful features which you’ll discover once you’ll download the application.
