In case you are a fan of the Nexus devices, then you will surely enjoy this news. Many thought that by releasing the Nexus 6, Google didn’t make the best move, because it is way more expensive than the Nexus 5. Of course, the device comes with a larger display and better specs, but the users didn’t expect such a big price difference.
Many people want a Nexus 5 return
Without any doubts, the Nexus 5 was one of the most popular handsets and there are still a lot of people who are still using it right now. It came with great features, a good price and got a lot of attention right after the release.
According to The Verge, Google and LG are planning to release a new Nexus 5 (2015) device, which will come with better specs than the Nexus 5 that was released back in 2013. However, according to reports, there will be actually two Nexus devices, one by LG and one by Huawei.
According to Engadget, the Nexus 5 2015 (LG variant) will be nicknamed “Angler” and it will feature a 5.2inch display, a six core Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Nexus 5 2015 (the Huawei variant) will be nicknamed “Bullhead” and it will feature a 5.7inch display, a Snapdragon 810 processor and 2GB of RAM.
According to Digital Trends, an analyst from China claimed that Huawei is indeed working on the next Google’s Nexus handset and that it will feature a Samsung-made 5.7inch QHD display that will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. If this is true, then the upcoming Nexus 5 2015 will feature a smaller display than the Nexus 6. If this device will be well-received by the customers, we’ll most likely find out this fall.
Nexus 6 is 150 dollars cheaper
