Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs Zenfone 2 – Higher Specs and Features Comparison

The Galaxy Note 4 was the best phablet in 2014, but the Zenfone 2 that just got released a few months ago is getting more and more popular nowadays. Will the Zenfone 2 become the best phablet in 2015? Well, we’re guessing that only time will tell.

Today we’re going to make a short comparison between these two devices and you’ll decide which one you will want to buy.

Design

Both of the Galaxy Note 4 and Zenfone 2 devices come with plastic bodies. However, the Galaxy Note 4 features a metal frame and uses a leather imitation on the back panel, which makes the device pretty easy to hold. On the other hand, the plastic body that the Zenfone 2 comes with is coated with a metallic sheen, giving it a high-end look. You will also notice a slight curve on the back, which gets narrower towards the edges.

However, it is good to know that the Galaxy Note 4 features a fingerprint sensor and an S Pen Stylus, which can’t be found on the Zenfone 2 device.

Display

The Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 5.7inches AMOLED screen that supports a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and 515ppi. On the other hand, the Zenfone 2 features a smaller ISP screen of 5.5inches that supports a resolution of 1080×920 pixels and 403ppi.

Specifications

The Galaxy Note 4 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, consisting of a Krait 450 processor that features four cores clocked at 2.7GHz, an Adreno 420 GPU for graphics and 3GB of RAM. The Zenfone 2 features an Intel Atom Z3580 chipset, that’s formed from a quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, a PowerVR G6430 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

Storage options

The Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card, while the Zenfone 2 features storage options of 16/32/64 GB and the first two variants can be extended up to 64GB with a microSD card.

Camera

The Galaxy Note 4 features a primary camera of 16MP that features optical image stabilization, which is way better than Zenfone 2’s 13MP primary camera.

Price

Currently, the Galaxy Note 4 costs 299 dollars with a two year contract, while the Asus Zenfone 2 (4GB RAM variant) costs 299 dollars on Amazon without any contract.
