WhatsApp is the messaging application of the moment, being used by over 800 million active users. The application “suffered” a lot of modifications since it was bought by Facebook back in February 2014 for 22 billion dollars.

Voice Call is the latest feature that WhatsApp has received. Since this feature was added to Android, iOS and BlackBerry, we’ve noticed that a big wave of people installed the WhatsApp application on their smartphones.

WhatsApp’s developers are continuously working on their application and they are releasing new BETA versions of this application almost daily (at least for Android). The latest WhatsApp version that the developers have released is 2.12.130 and it can’t be found on the official Android store.

WhatsApp 2.12.130 BETA for Android: What’s new?

Unfortunately, there are no significant changes on this new WhatsApp BETA version. There are just minor improvements and some bug fixes that the developers have found. However, in case you want to test it out on your Android device, below we’re going to tell you how to download and install it.

WhatsApp 2.12.130 BETA: How to install on Android

Since the WhatsApp 2.12.130 is currently in BETA, the installation file can be found on the internet. However, keep in mind that beta versions may come with bugs and other annoying issues and if you want a bug-free WhatsApp application, we suggest you to install the latest STABLE version from the Google Play Store.

In case you still want to test out this new WhatsApp 2.12.130 BETA version, open the browser that you use on your Android smartphone and head to whatsapp.com/android. Here, you will need to tap on the “Download Now” button and you will start downloading the WhatsApp 2.12.130 APK file on your Android device.

When the installation is complete, you will need to manually install it on your device, but keep in mind that you can’t do this if the Unknown Sources option is not enabled. To enable this feature, go to Settings->Security or Settings->Applications and turn it on by checking the box located in the front of it.

When you’re sure that Unknown Sources is enabled, you can use a file manager application to get to the folder where you’ve saved the WhatsApp 2.12.130 and tap on it to start installing the latest WhatsApp BETA version on your Android device.
