The list of the most effective smartphones includes the HTC One E9+, the Xiaomi Mi Note (Bamboo edition) and Gionee Elife E8. The Mi Note and the HTC E9+ have been announced in March, followed by the Elife E8, whose arrival was announced in June. As the three phones have powerful configuration, it is expected that these device will provide intense competition to each other in an open market. But which one is the best budget phone in the books? Let’s find out!
The Elife E8 features an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 6 inches with multi-touch functionality. It has the resolution of 1440 x 2560, and pixel density of 490 PPI. The HTC E9+ has a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen that offers multi-touch feature. The display screen of this device is protected by the presence of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Though the screen size of the One E9+ is lesser than the Elife E8, the device offers a similar resolution, which distributes the pixel density at 534 PPI. When it comes to Mi Note, the phone comes loaded with a 5.7-inch capacitive touchscreen that offers a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and pixel density of 386 PPI.
To sum it up, the Gionee smartphone has the largest screen, followed by the Mi Note. Apart from this, the HTC device joins the Elife E8 at the first position in terms of resolution. With high resolution offered in comparatively small screen, the HTC E9+ offers the best pixel density among the three budget smartphones, followed by the Elife E8.

The Gionee E8 and the HTC E9+ have very similar offerings in terms of processor and chipset. The two devices run on 2 GHz Octa-core processor and Mediatek MT6795 chip. In addition to this, both the smartphones have PowerVR G6200 graphics processing unit. Moreover, both the phones are powered by the Android 5 (Lollipop). However, the only difference is that the HTC device features the Android v5.0, whereas the Elife E8 runs on the Android v5.1.
Apart from this, the Xiaomi model has a 2.5 GHz Quad-core processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. This configuration clearly beats the two competitors in performance. When it comes to the operating system, this edition of Mi Note features Android v4.4 (KitKat); which is the predecessor of the latest Android Lollipop.

The internal storage of the E8, the E9+ and the Bamboo Edition Note are 64 GB, 32 GB and 16 GB respectively. Among the three, only the One E9+ comes with an external storage slot of 128 GB.

The Elife E8 comes with a 24 MP sensor and Dual-LED Flash on its rear panel. In comparison, the HTC device has a 20 MP camera with LED Flash, while the Mi Note features a 13 MP sensor. This clearly states that the Gionee model has the most powerful camera configuration, followed by the HTC device.
When it comes to the front camera, the Gionee E8 has an 8 MP lens; whereas the Bamboo edition Mi Note offers 4 MP. However, the best offering is made by the One E9+ as it comes loaded with a 13 MP camera.
