It seems that Jamal Eason, the Product Manager of Android, confirmed all these rumors, saying that the device is going to “see” the light this fall.

So, according to Jamal Eason, the upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) will be released in Q4 of 2015. With other words, it will be most likely released simultaneously with the upcoming Android M operating system, as according to some previous rumors, it was said that Google’s next flagship wi2ll run on Android M out of the box.

However, that’s not something new, as Google usually releases its new devices with the new firmware. According to some earlier reports from GeekSnack, the upcoming Android M OS will most likely be released in August 2015, fueling speculation that the upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) will most likely be released earlier than expected. However, Jamal Eason surely cleared all these rumors when he said that the upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) will be released this fall.

Google will most likely release the Nexus 5 (2015) sometime between October and November 2015. If Google will release the device during this period, the Nexus 6 will complete a year cycle on the market and it will be replaced by the new model.

In concordance with Android Police, Google will most likely release two Nexus device, one manufactured by LG and another one manufactured by Hauwei. The device that will be brought by LG is codenamed “LG Bullhead” and the other one brought by Huawei is known as “Huawei Angler”.

The Google Nexus 5 (2015) will most likely feature a 5.2inch screen display that will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP primary camera (on the rear side) and a 2MP secondary camera (on the front side). The device will run on Android M OS and it will be powered by a 2700 mAh battery.
