0 0

It seems that Google is preparing two Google Nexus 5 (2015) variants for us, as new reports claim that Huawei and LG are already working on two different models.

In concordance with Softpedia, Google has dropped the idea of releasing a tablet in 2015 and this is because the sales didn’t go too well for the last year tablets. However, it seems that the big search engine is thinking about releasing two Nexus 5 (2015) devices. At the same time, there are other rumors which say that actually one of these two devices will be the Nexus 5 (2015) and the other one will be a direct successor of the Nexus 6.

It’s not sure which one of these two companies will make the smartphone and which one will make the phablet size one. One of the devices will feature a 5.2inch screen display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 2700 mAh battery.

The other device will feature a bigger display of 5.7inches and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC processor and will house a 3500 mAh battery. This second device is rumored to be the successor of the Nexus 6.

Google Nexus 5 (2015) will come with some new features

Ars Technica tested the Android M preview 2 on both the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 and noticed a few things.

First of all, it seems that the Android M Preview 2 comes with a significantly improved application drawer. Aside from the aesthetics side, the new features that the application comes with are pretty awesome and there is a new search bar that has predictive functions. The application will “learn” what you usually search for and it will predict the next time when you want to search for something.

The Android M Preview 2 also comes with a new home screen orientation. It supports auto-rotate and also allows landscape orientation for devices. We remind you that this was optimized for larger screen devices such as tablets.

It’s not sure for which device this new feature will be, but we have a clue that it will be for the upcoming Nexus device that will feature a 5.7inch screen size. However, there are rumors which say that Google might release a Nexus 9 (2015) edition and this feature will be brought to it.

A new User Interface will be added, which will allow the users to tweaks their devices the way they want. This feature will most likely be used by people who use branded devices from LG or Samsung.

With the new System UI Tuner, you will no longer have to root your device to change the look of Android.
