iOS 8.4.1 Beta 1 Download Available For iPhone, iPad And iPod Touch – Top Features
iOS 8.4.1 beta 1 was released for the developers who joined the Apple Developer Program, and it comes two weeks later after Apple launched the final version of iOS 8.4, which brought the Apple Music service. Apple had enough time to fix some bugs on this version and to make some performance improvements, but the build number 12H304 still remains a mystery.
The launch of the iOS 8.4.1 beta 1 was a total surprise, but Apple didn’t reveal what it contains, but we’re pretty sure that the operating system received minor tweaks. It’s weird that Apple gave the detailed release notes for the iOS 9 beta 1, but didn’t give any information about the beta 1 of iOS 8.4.1.
iOS 8.4 came on June 30 with a bunch of bug fixes and performance improvements, plus a redesigned Music app with which the users can have access to Apple Music and Beats 1 radio. One week later, over 40 percent of the iOS devices were upgraded to iOS 8.4 and Apple took things forward, allowing the developers to test their current or upcoming applications for the new OS, and to offer feedback to the Cupertino giant.
When Apple released iOS 8.4, the team of jailbreakers from TaiG came with the jailbreak for this version, which means that everyone who upgraded to the latest public release and use TaiG on Windows or PP jailbreak on Mac, can jailbreak it. Hopefully, Apple patched the jailbreak exploits and iOS 8.4.1 beta 1 to give TaiG a hard time jailbreaking it. It’s known that Apple can’t stand the jailbreaking community, considering that a jailbroken iOS is vulnerable and prone to security risks.
For now, iOS 8.4.1 beta 1 can be downloaded from Apple Developer Center by those who enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and it’s compatible with the following devices:
– iPhone 4S, 5, 5c, 5s, 6 and 6 Plus;
– iPad Air 2, mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (3rd generation), iPad (4th generation), iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display;
– iPod touch 5G.
