Samsung has created one of the greatest phablets in the world – the Galaxy Note. The Galaxy Note 4 was, without any doubts, one of the best phablets of 2014 and this is why the expectations are quite high for its successor.

Today we’re going to talk about the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 specs, rumors and release date, so here we go.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5: Specs and Rumors

According to some rumors, the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 will be an “enlarged” Galaxy S6 device that will feature a stylus. Some leaked images about the Galaxy Note 5 show the device’s camera featuring flash and the hearth rate monitor. We’ve also spotted that the speaker grill has been moved a bit to accommodate the stylus holder.

According to the leaked pictures, the Galaxy Note 5 will feature the same premium aluminum feel that the Galaxy S6 device has. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note 5 will most likely feature a non-removable battery, because it seems that the companies which build mobile devices nowadays prefer to bring these devices with fixed batteries, so the users are stuck with these phones until their lives are starting to decrease.

According to some rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 5.67 inch super AMOLED display that will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, an octa-core 64bits processor, 4GB of RAM and an USB Type-C connector. Unfortunately, the device is not expected to be released with a microSD card slot, so we will need to rely on the internal memory, which, according to rumors, will be of 32GB or 64GB.

The Samsung Glaaxy Note 5 will feature a primary camera of 16MP that will feature optical image stabilization (OIS) and it will be able to record 4K videos. The secondary camera of this upcoming device will be only 5MP but we think that it will be pretty decent for selfies.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5: Release date

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be unveiled in New York City on August 12, 2015. After it will get unveiled it will be released in less than two weeks on August 21, 2015.

However, we remind you that these are just speculations, so we should take this news with a bit of salt. Samsung will most likely come with some official statements about the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 soon enough!
