Design and displays
There are some rumors according to which Apple wants to get rid of the lines from the back of the iPhone 7, to make it full-metal, but the users are worried that by removing the two thin strips from the top and bottom of the phone, the performance of the device will be affected. Why? Because these plastic lines are hiding the radio waves, and it they will be covered with metal, nothing good will follow. The Network World reported that the iPhone 7 will have “more flexible organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens”, as this technology is obtained by “placing a series of organic thin films between two conductors”.
As for the Moto X 2015, this device will feature a Super AMOLED screen from Samsung that will measure 5.2inches. The design will be changed completely and the back will have a fine texture with a metal strip that will contain the camera, the LED flash and the M logo engraved inside the dimple.
Forbes reported that the iPhone 7 will most likely benefit from a dual-camera technology which has been in works in the past year and which will allow the phone to take sharper and better quality photos in low light conditions. The Moto X 2015, on the other hand, is rumored to feature a primary camera of 16MP and a front camera of 5MP.
Without any doubt, Apple will make the debut of the new A9 processor which will have a better speed and which will allow the users to perform multitasking. The Moto X 2015 is expected to be powered by the penultimate Snapdragon 808 chipset with a hexa core processor and 4GB o RAM.
Apple will integrate the Force Touch technology into the iPhone 7’s screen and will improve the battery life by up to 50 percent thanks to a new power saving functionality. As for the Moto X, the device will most likely receive a fingerprint sensor which will allow the users to make online payments using Android Pay, and there will be a USB Type-C port.
While the Moto X 2015 is expected to cost between 470 and 660 dollars, the iPhone 7 will have the same price as the iPhone 6, when it was released.
