WhatsApp Free Download And Use Without a SIM Card

0

Not many people know, but you can install and use WhatsApp on an Android device even if doesn’t support a SIM card. However, you will still need a mobile phone number in order to get verified and log into your WhatsApp account.

Installing WhatsApp on an Android tablet that doesn’t support a SIM card

First of all, you will need to manually install the WhatsApp application on your Tablet. That’s because if try to install WhatsApp from the Google Play Store, it will automatically say that your device is not compatible with this application and the “Install” button will be deactivated.

However, by heading to whatsapp.com/android, you will be able to tap on the “Download Now” button and download the latest WhatsApp BETA APK on your tablet. After that, you will need to enable the Unknown Sources feature that’s found on Settings->Security.

Once you’re sure that the Unknown Sources feature is enabled, you will need to go to the location where you’ve saved the WhatsApp BETA APK file and tap on it to start installing the application on your tablet device.

Now that you have WhatsApp installed on your tablet, you will also need to use a mobile phone number to get verified. We suggest you to buy a new SIM card and insert it on a mobile phone device (it doesn’t matter if it’s a smartphone or not as you will just need the verification code) and use the mobile phone number on your WhatsApp application.

The verification will fail and you will be asked if you want to be called by a robot to receive the verification code. Tap on the “Call me” button and you will be called on your mobile phone by a robot, which will say the verification code. Use the code on your WhatsApp application to get verified and from now on, you will be able to use the application on your tablet without any problems.

HINT: We suggest you to use a NEW SIM card (a new mobile phone number) so that you will have a separate WhatsApp ID for the tablet, as you can’t have the same WhatsApp ID (mobile phone number) activated on the two devices, at the same time. This way, you will be able to use a WhatsApp account on a smartphone and another one on your tablet.
