Mafia 3 Gameplay And Release Date On Gamescom 2015
The upcoming Mafia 3 has been one of the main attractions of Gamescom 2015. It seems that the game is going to be released in 2016 and it will be set in New Orleans in 1968. However, before we tell you more about this, below you can find the trailer of the upcoming Mafia III game.
The main character will be Lincoln Clay, which is a Vietnam veteran and the game is expected to bring at least the same awesome gameplay and environment that the both Mafia and Mafia 2 games came with.
To make things even more interesting, the developers have also released a gameplay video of Mafia III and you can watch it below:
According to Gamespot, the gameplay video was made while the game was running on Windows PC. However, we’re pretty sure that the graphics will be stunning on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 also.
We’re pretty sure that any gamer that has played Mafia I or Mafia II can barely wait for this game to be released. From what we’ve seen, the graphics are way better than the ones found on Mafia II and the combat is a little bit different. However, we remind you that the Mafia II game was released back in 2010, so the developers had a lot of time to work on the Mafia III.
Aside from the stunning visuals that you’ve seen in the gameplay trailer, we’re pretty sure that the new location (New Orleans) will offer a lot of action. The wetlands that are around this city will be the perfect crime scene, such as the trailer shows, where you will be able to feed the crocodiles with your victims.
The Mafia III game is expected to be released sometime in 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Unfortunately, the developers didn’t give an exact date of when this will happen.
