Microsoft has released the Surface Pro 3 last year in June. At that time, the American multinational technology company declared that this is the best tablet that can replace any available laptop in the market. However, according to some tech geeks, once the Surface Pro 4 will be unveiled, its specifications and features will beat with ease the current Surface Pro 3.
Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 features a 12inch screen that supports a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels, it has dimensions of 11.5×7.93×0.36inch and a battery that can hold the device alive for about nine hours while web browsing. According to TechRadar, there are rumors which say that the upcoming Surface Pro 4 will be actually released in two size variants: one that will feature a 12inch screen and the other one will have a 14inch screen.
Both of these screens will support a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels, which is the same resolution that the Surface Pro 3 came with, but most likely, the tablet will be powered by Intel’s new Core M Broadwell CPU. However, there are rumors saying that the device will feature an Intel i7 or i5 processor.
The Surface Pro 4 will probably house an internal memory whose capacity will range between 64GB and 256GB. According to some rumors, the upcoming device will also eliminate the need for a stand or cover. The Surface Pro 4 will feature an improved stylus that will be more pressure sensitive, which will be great for handwriting and even drawing.
The Surface Pro 4 is going to receive some graphics improvements and it will run on the recently released Windows 10 OS. When it comes to pricing, there are rumors which say that the upcoming tablet will most likely cost less than the previous models, when they were launched.
The Surface Pro 4 is expected to be released sometime in October 2015.
