This new update comes with vulnerability fixes, which will make your smartphone much more secure. It is good to know that along with the vulnerability fix, the new update also comes with other fixes and improvements, which will make your device respond faster to commands.

In case your Galaxy S5 didn’t get updated to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop yet, you can check to see if the update is available for your device by going to Settings->About Phone->Software Updates. If the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is available for your device, you will be able to download it, and then wait for the device to complete the installation process.
