Windows 10 Top Bugs And How Can You Fix Them
In case you decided to install Windows 10 on your computer, then there are high chances that you have some issues with it. However, we have to say that for some users this new operating system is working like a charm and we’re not sure why these issues are found only on some devices.
Here are the issues that you will most likely face after installing Windows 10 on your device.
It seems that one of the most recent updates that Microsoft released for Windows 10 made things even worse, as there are a lot of users who got stuck in a reboot loop.
In case you want to hack into the registry, you can head to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionProfileList and remove SID’s for users that no longer exist in the registry. In order to check which users don’t exist, go to computer management/local users and group/users.
However, if you don’t want to mess up with the registry, then you should be patient until the developers from Microsoft will solve the problem by releasing a new patch.
Windows 10 has been in the testing phase for quite a while, but there are still some applications that will not work with it. In case you have problems with a specific software, then you should check out for updates and see if the developers released a Windows 10 version for it.
At the same time, you can also give it a try and see if the application will start in case you use the Windows 7/Windows XP compatibility mode.
Default applications are not always the best ones. For example, the new Photo application that Windows 10 comes with is not very good. We agree that it comes with many features that allow you to edit the contrast, brightness and more, but there are other applications out there that can do better. In case you want to change the default application that opens your photos or videos, select a photo or video and right click it, select Open With->Choose another application and choose which application you want to use for opening those types of files and check “Always use this application to open “X” file types”.
It seems that there are a lot of laptop users who have issues with the touchpad in Windows 10. We’re not sure if Microsoft is going to bring a direct fix to this issue, but in the meantime you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the touchpad drivers and see if that will fix the problem.
