GoPro Hero 4 vs Graava – Which One Takes Better Outdoor Pictures?
GoPro has a famous line of action cameras which are loved by the extreme sports fans, but they’re pretty expensive and non-pros prefer to spend their money on more affordable devices. An alternative is Graava, which entered the market recently and came with an awesome editing feature.
GoPro Hero4 Black
This is the best camera from the family and it costs 500 dollars on GoPro’s official store. The device has a 12MP CMOS sensor with autofocus and an f/2.8 fixed maximum aperture. It supports Bluetooth, Highlight tag and it’s twice as fast as the previous Hero3+ Black, thanks to its new processor. The camera records 4K videos at 24, 25 and 30 fps, but if you record in Superview mode, then the maximum frame rate will be 25. If you disable WiFi and record 4K videos at 30 fps, then the battery will last around 65 minutes, while when recording at 720p/240, the battery can last up to 1 hour and 50 minutes. The Hero4+ contains an Ambarella Inc. A9 chipset, a rechargeable battery, a back door skeleton/openwork, a standard housing – 131′ (40m), quick-release buckles, a narrow aisle articulated arm, a USB cable etc.
This device is also water resistant and compiles data from camera, mic, GPS, it has an accelerometer sensor and a heart rate sensor. The camera is 8MP and shoots 1080p videos at 30 fps or 720 pixels at 60 fps, and the good news is that the battery (1,100 mAh) can last up to three hours if WiFi is turned off. You can also record 4K videos in either 1080p or 720p resolution. It can do a 130-degree viewing angle and can film vertically and horizontally with the auto-rotation feature. But most important, it has an application in Android or iOS, with which you can choose the length of the video clip (up to 15 seconds for Instagram or six seconds for Vine). Also, another feature allows you to select the highest quality moments and use them to create a cool video. Besides, you can add a soundtrack to your video and share it on the aforementioned social media websites.
With this camera, you can record a continuous loop video, and other features that are worth mentioning are optical image stabilization and fixed autofocus. The device has a price tag of 250 dollars, but it can cost up to 400 dollars.
