Nexus 6 2015 – Alternative To Samsung Note 5 and Apple iPhone 6S Plus
Soon, Google will release two versions of Nexus: one that will be manufactured by LG, and which will have a smaller screen size, while the other will be a phablet – a bit shorter compared to the Nexus 6 2014. This model will be created by Huawei and has some nice specifications.
Huawei is the latest company that was co-opted by Google to create a Nexus, joining the table after Samsung, HTC, LG and Motorola were given a chance to prove they’re creative. The Nexus 6, which came last year, had an enormous screen that measured 5.96 inches and since it was created by Motorola, its design was similar to that of the Moto X 2014: plastic back with a dip at the top and metallic sides, plus dual speakers on the front side.
Soon, the fans will be able to buy a successor of the Nexus 6, but which will be manufactured by Huawei and will have smaller dimensions. We’ve heard only rumors about it, so nothing’s official, but here’s what to expect from this upcoming phablet: the screen will measure 5.7inches and will support QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it’s possible that the body will be made entirely from aluminum, and on the back will be placed a fingerprint scanner for Android Pay support. The rear camera will be upgraded from 13MP to 21MP and the internal storage will be available in the same variants of 32 and 64GB. The phone will be powered by an octa core Snapdragon 820 processor which will be backed by 3GB or 4GB of RAM and will be kept alive by a battery of 3500mAh. Also, the new USB Type-C Port will make its appearance, as it starts to show up on most of the new devices.
As for the price, the Nexus 6 2016 is rumored to cost $499, with $100 less than the previous model, but the 64Gb variant will be $50 more expensive. We’re expecting to see the phone released in Q4, probably in the same time as the Nexus 5 2015.
