The launch date for the Google Nexus 5 2015 is right around the corner. Users are anticipating a lot more than last year’s launch regarding the Nexus 6. Even if Google has not spilled the beans on the upcoming device, there are rumors spreading all over the internet at the speed of light regarding this device. The launch date is scheduled for the month of October, but it may be delayed until November.
Users are expecting a lot from the Nexus 5 2015 given the fact that it comes right after an important Nexus flagship, this being the Nexus 5 2013 version. The latter Nexus device cemented its place in the market after being a total hit for buyers and during its 1 ½ year reign on the shelves it is time to make room for a new Nexus flagship.
Now, Google has recurred to LG to create the newest Nexus smartphone. So, everybody is expecting to see an inch reduction concerning the screen and a lower price tag as well.
Quick reminder: The Nexus 6 was priced at $649 and it had a 6 inch display. This was the price for the 32 GB variant while for the 64 GB version users had to pay $699.
The new Nexus 5 2015 will come out with a 5.2 inch touchscreen (1440×2560 pixels) and most likely the price tag will be under $500. For now these are mere assumptions.
Based on various reports that were issued in the online environment, this new device will be fired-up by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, it will run on Android M, have 3 GB RAM and photo enthusiasts will get to enjoy a 13 MP front camera and a 2 MP snapper, ideal for taking selfies. The battery is a 2300 mAh battery and it cannot be removed. Besides all of this, the Nexus 5 2015 will also roll out straight from the box with the fingerprint functionality and the new Android Pay.
