Samsung has recently launched two of their most expensive smartphones – Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and another improvement to this year’s release, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
These two smartphones have continued the trend that was started with Galaxy S6 and its brother Galaxy S6 Edge. There is no microSD extension slot, no removable batteries and a new build that resembles that of Apple – glass and metal. With these changes in these devices, Samsung was hopeful that it will regain its lost glory with respect to mobile sales. However, it seems little has changed and as a result, this South Korean tech giant has decided to go the extra mile.
Samsung makes an official advertisement
There is no doubt that Samsung is keen to get hold of the many hearts that are devoted to Apple’s iPhone. This canbe evidenced by the fact that the company has made it public that it will be allowing any owner of an iPhone to rent one of the latest entrants into the Samsung Galaxy family. IPhone owners can now get a chance to feel how Android devices, and especially Samsung devices, work for just $1. The trial period will last for about 30 days and after that, these devices will be expected back if one feels otherwise about owning one.
From now running until December 31st, any interested person residing in the United States can sign up for this program via an iPhone. You must be over 18 years and using an iPhone.
How this works
According to a report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ devices will be shipped with activated SIM cards, but there are no further details on the same. There are still lots of questions about this program, among them the amount Samsung will put on hold with respect to users’ credit cards. Since these phones are LTEs, it may force the company to include a sizeable amount of data so that users can get the real feel of how this device works. However, we hope that more details will come out regarding this program.
One needs to have a valid credit card to get this promotion. This is just a precaution by the company to ensure that it takes the correct measures in case some users decide against returning the device.
