A Chinese micro-blogging site named Weibo posted a list of specifications of the Nexus 5 device that was built by LG. This variant will be smaller than the Huawei Nexus 6 2015 and will have a slightly weaker processor.
According to Weibo, the LG Nexus 5 2015 will sport a 5.2inches screen with Quad HD resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels) which will result in a pixel density of 565 ppi. LG will use the same hardware configuration as on its LG G4 device, consisting of a Snapdragon 808 chipset with a hexa core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, which is backed by Adreno 418 graphics and 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. This website hasn’t mentioned anything about the cameras, but according to Phone Arena, the front camera will have a resolution of 5MP.
The battery will have either 2,700 mAh or 3,180 mAh, and @onleaks contributed with the dimensions of this model: 146.9 x 72.9 x 8/9.8mm. Moreover, on front panel will be placed dual stereo speakers and on the back will be found the fingerprint sensor. In addition, the device will adopt the new USB Type-C connector (24-pin double-sided).
The Nexus 6 2015 is a phablet that is considered to be the successor of the Nexus 6 2014, but it’s built by Huawei, not Motorola, so its design is totally different, plus it’s smaller, as the screen is rumored to measure 5.7inches and will support QHD resolution at 515ppi. As for the internal specs, Gadgetz reported that the device will be powered by an octa core Snapdragon 810 that couples with 3GB of RAM.
It will resemble the Huawei P8 in terms of design, it will measure 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6mm (around the rear camera it will be thicker, measuring 8.5mm). The resolutions of its cameras are unknown, but the camera app will be basic, which means that you won’t get extra options. Likewise the Nexus 5 2015, the phablet will get a fingerprint scanner, which will support Android Pay.
Most of the sources believe that Google will release both phones in October, alongside the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
