Because of the enormous success of the Nexus 5, Google proposed LG to built a successor for it, and this device will be released this fall, along with the new Android Marshmallow OS. There will be a second Nexus phone, but this one will be manufactured by Huawei, and it’s a phablet with a 5.7-inch screen. LG has also worked on its own products and soon, we’ll get our hands on the LG G4 Pro, a larger variant of the flagship that arrived this spring. We don’t have too much information about this premium device, but we hard that it will feature a full metal body.
The Nexus 5 2015 will feature a 5.2-inch screen with 2K resolution, while the G4 Pro will be very large and will have a 5.8-inch screen with a QHD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, which will give a pixel density of 506 ppi.
All rumors suggest that the new Nexus 5 will be powered by a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor that will be paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, being the same configuration that was used for the G4 flagship.
The Pro version of the G4 will come with the latest Snapdragon 820 chipset with an octa core processor clocked at 3GHz, which will support Adreno 540 graphics and 4GB of LPDDR4.
The Nexus 5 2015 will sport a 13MP back camera with a Sony-made IMX 278 sensor, but it won’t support optical image stabilization. The rumors say that this camera will be better than the one from the Huawei Nexus. As for the front camera, most likely, it will have a resolution of 5MP.
