Everyone already knows that we will have a new Nexus device released by the end of 2015. There were many rumors and reports about the upcoming Nexus 5 2015’s release date, but the latest one claims that the device will be released in September.
Starting from 2014, Google has changed the way they release new hardware and software. In the past, Google released two new major Android update per year and they were synchronized with the release date of the Nexus phones or tablets. However, starting with Lollipop, the new software is now announced in early summer and it’s tested for a few months as a Developer Preview and then it is made available for the public in the fall, when the Nexus devices are usually launched.
According to rumors, the upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come installed on two new Nexus smartphones. One of them will be created by LG and another one by Huawei.
According to MKPost, the upcoming Nexus 5 2015 is going to be released on September 29, 2015. This information comes from an anonymous source that also predicted the release date of the first Nexus 5. Actually, this is the date when the Nexus 5 2015 will become available for purchase in the South Korean Google Store. With other words, Google will most likely announce the device prior to that date.
It is not sure if the device is going to be available worldwide at the date we’ve mentioned above or it will be launched only in Korea. For now, there is no information if the Nexus 5 2015 by Huawei is going to be released at the same date.
Earlier reports said that the LG Nexus 5 2015 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a 13MP primary camera that will have OIS, laser autofocus, a Snapdragon 808 64bit hexa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. In addition, the LG Nexus 5 2015 will be equipped with a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type C.
