Apple has decided to improve the current iPhones, instead of bringing a new model with a new look and specs. The iPhone 6S will see the autumn sunlight in a few days and we’re curious if it will have the same impact as the iPhone 6. BlackBerry will have a hard time to convince the Android or iOS fans to ditch their phones in favor of the upcoming Venice device, so we’re guessing that only the loyal users are interested in upgrading their old BlackBerry devices.
BlackBerry used to make luxurious smartphones and had a great period until Apple and Samsung took over the market and didn’t leave too much room for other rivals. In 2015, the return of BlackBerry will be either a total success or a failure, depending on how the consumers will welcome the Venice device. This phone will come with a carbon fiber and aluminum design, with the volume buttons being placed on the right, along with a shortcut button which launches BlackBerry applications. The back is non-removable likewise on the Passport and Classic devices, the camera lens has a metal protruding ring around it, but what you’ll like about this model is the keyboard slider. BlackBerry hasn’t given up the idea to make phones with QWERTY keyboards, but this one is hidden underneath the display and it slides out.
The iPhone 6S looks identical to the previous model, with the exception that it brings a new color for its anodized aluminum body: pink. The bendgate issue has been solved, so you will no longer worry about this anymore. The back will continue to have thin strips made of plastic to hide the antenna and the edges will be curved, as well.
Displays and Hardware
The Venice will feature a 5.4-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution and will be powered by a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, which will be backed by Adreno 418 graphics and 3GB of RAM. At the bottom will be placed a 3.5mm audio jack and a micro USB port and most likely, will have expandable internal memory. In some leaked images, the Venice was running Android 5.0 Lollipop, but according to some rumors, the device will keep the BlackBerry 10 skin.
The iPhone 6S will most likely feature a 1.5Ghz A9 processor which will be backed by 2GB of RAM, and we’re expecting less power consumption and better multitasking capabilities. Moreover, the device will come loaded with the new iOS 9.
The Venice phone is touted to sport an 18MP rear camera with OIS and fast autofocus technology, and dual-LED flash in front of the shooter. The selfie lovers will take photos with the 5MP front camera.
The iPhone 6S will bring a 12MP rear camera with an improved Image Signal Processor, 4K video recording and five-element lenses to obtain more accurate photos.
Apple will introduce the Force Touch Technology, which will allow the users to interact better with the iPhone 6S depending on the different levels of pressure applied on the screen.
The Venice will come with content transfer, security benefits, the BlackBerry Hub etc.
