October will be a very good month for Microsoft, as the American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond is planning to unveil a number of new productions such as: Microsoft Band 2 Fitness & Activity Tracker, Surface Pro 4, Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Windows 10 for mobile devices.
Microsoft Band 2
The second generation of Microsoft’s popular fitness band will be released this fall. Currently, there are no details available about this new fitness tracker, but we’re sure that the new band will come with more power and a thinner design compared to the previous one.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Tablet
The new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is expected to come in two screen size variants: 12-inch and 14-inch, it will be powered by an Intel i7 or i5 6th generation processor, and will house a battery that will be able to keep the device alive for 17 hours. For now, we don’t know much more about this device, but we’re pretty sure that next month Microsoft will unveil it.
Lumia 950 and 950 XL
WPDang, a well known Chinese website, reported that Microsoft is planning to release the “TalkMan” and “CityMan” flagship smartphones. If you didn’t know, those two are the nicknames of the upcoming Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones. Both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will run on Windows 10 for Mobile OS out of the box.
If the previous rumors prove to be right, then the upcoming Lumia 950 will feature a 5.2-inch display, while the Lumia 950 XL will feature a 5.7-inch display. When it comes to the processor, the Lumia 950 is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 model, while the Lumia 950 XL will come with the superior Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.
Both devices will come with 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM, a primary camera of 20MP and a secondary camera of 5MP.
The upcoming event when Microsoft will announce all these devices is expected to be held sometime in October 2015.
