Google Nexus 5 (2015) and Google Nexus 6 (2015) Pre-order In October – Features and Leaks
According to Talk Android, the upcoming Google Nexus devices will be available for preorder starting from October 13, 2015. If the rumors prove to be right, Google will announce these two devices on September 29, 2015. The unveil event comes after Apple will release its iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus on September 18, 2015.
The Nexus 6 (2015) is manufactured by Huawei, while the Nexus 5 (2015) is manufactured by LG, the same company which developed the Nexus 5 (2013). In 2014, the Nexus 6 was built by Motorola, but back then, the company was owned by Google. However, Google has sold the Motorola company, so it’s not something strange that the big search company has decided to change the manufacturing companies for its upcoming smartphones.
At the same time, the Nexus 6 was not a well-sold smartphone and it seems that Google has messed things up pretty much. However, Huawei is a good solution for Google, when it comes to costs, while still receiving high-end hardware.
When it comes to LG, this company is considered the best manufactory company of all the Nexus smartphones until now. Both the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 smartphones were well received by many users and the sales went pretty good. There are people who still use the “old” Nexus 5 smartphone, because it comes with a simple design, it’s small and it has some pretty decent specifications.
The only thing that most people don’t like on the Nexus 5 device is the camera. However, it’s not that bad, but at the same time it isn’t brilliant either.
We’re sure that many Nexus 5 (2013) owners will finally decide to upgrade their smartphone by purchasing the Nexus 5 (2015) device once it will get released. The Nexus 6 was pretty big and there are a lot of people who will rather want to own a smartphone that has a decent display size (neither too small and nor too big). Motorola’s Nexus 6 device features a 5.96-inch display size and this was the main reason why this device was not that successful. However, the upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) will feature a 5.2-inch display, which compared to the 4.96-inch display that the Nexus 5 (2013) has, it’s ok. We’re sure that there will be a lot of people who will prefer to ditch their Nexus 5 (2013) for the Nexus 5 (2015) now, as the display difference is reasonable now.
The Nexus 5 (2015) will also come with many new features such as the fingerprint scanner which will allow you to use the upcoming Android Pay service.
On the other hand, the Nexus 6 (2015) comes with a 5.7-inch display, which is slightly smaller than the Nexus 6 (2014) smartphone.
What smartphone do you consider purchasing: the Nexus 5 (2015) or the Nexus 6 (2015)?
