The Xperia M5 Dual came out in India on Wednesday. The device was priced at Rs. 37,990, and as far as color options, comes in a black and in a gold shade.
Sony Xperia M5 Dual has the IP65 and IP68 certification, meaning it is a handset that resists to water and dust. Xperia M5 Dual version also has the one cap minus for the USB port.
Xperia M5 Dual packs a 13MP front camera coupled with Exmor RS sensor. The back end camera on the other hand is a 21 MP. With the back end camera unit, users have 5 x image zoom, 4K video element, great for recording, auto scene recognition, image stabilizer and the list doesn’t stop here. The device includes a 5-inch full HD display and under the hood it is fired-up by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor running at 2GHz. Xperia M5 Dual is packed with 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 200GB.
As far connectivity, this Xperia handset functions on GPRS/EDGE, 3G/4G. The smartphone delivers a 2600mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Xperia M5 was rolled out back in August along with the Xperia C5 Ultra. Starting with mid-August, Xperia C5 Ultra device was up for grabs only in exclusive regions. But it was only towards the end of the month that the C5 Ultra finally rolled out in India and it retailed for Rs. 29,990. The latter handset is also great for taking selfies because it also has 13 MP camera, it has a bigger display than the Xperia M5 Dual one, this being a 6-inch FHD display and it delivers a 1.7GHz MediaTek MTK6752 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
