According to new reports, the Mortal Kombat X will receive a new DLC soon. The “Kombat Pack 2” DLC is rumored to be released in early 2016 and it will feature some new characters.
Mortal Kombat X first “Kombat Pack” DLC was a real success for the gaming fans and it came with two guest characters: the Predator from the “Predator” movie franchise and Jason Voorhees from “Friday the 13th” movie. At the same time, the DLC has brought other Mortal Kombat less known fighters such as Tremor and Tanya.
Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have officially announced that the “Kombat Pack 2” will be in the works, as Ed Boon, the creator of “Mortal Kombat” has teased the gaming fans with some possible characters and features that the new DLC will bring.
Most of the fans have speculated that the list of some characters that will come with the “Kombat Pack 2” will include: Bo’Rai Cho, Rain, Smoke, Baraka, Kabal, Fujin and Sindel. All of them are featured in the “Mortal Kombat X’s” main story mode and the fans think that the developers will need to include them in the upcoming DLC.
According to Screenrant, there are also some possible characters that we will most likely see in the new DLC such as: Cyrax, Noob Saibot, Elvira, The Joker, Sektor and many more.
However, Ed Boon has confirmed that the “Kombat Pack 2” will only contain four playable characters and with the huge list that they have, the developers will have a really hard time to pick the characters that will come with the new DLC.
Aside from the upcoming characters that this ADC will come with, a new feature might also be added. If you’ve enjoyed playing the old school “Mortal Kombat” stages, then there is a high chance that it will be included into the upcoming DLC, as Boon teased that one of the arenas which will be added could be “The Pit”.
Mortal Kombat X is currently available in stores worldwide for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
