Not a day goes by without hearing new rumors about the upcoming Nexus 5 2015 flagship, also known as Nexus 5X. The device is expected to be announced by Google on September 29, but until then, we’ll keep you updated with everything we find out about it.
In addition to the leaked details, we present you an image of the upcoming Nexus 5 2015, in which we can clearly see that it has a white plastic case and huge bezels. But others believe that they are irrelevant, because nowadays, thin devices are overrated and more important are their internal specs.
In the leaked photo, we saw a Ringke case around the phone and it seems that on the back was placed a fingerprint sensor which sits under the camera lens. There are two openings at the bottom, most likely for the charging and for the audio jack. The case is very simple, being made of matte plastic with curved edges, and it features a metal frame running around the sides.
The device has a wallpaper with the Lollipop logo, but as you know, the Nexus 5 2015 will run on Marshmallow OS, which will be released along with the new Google device.
As for the specs, according to rumors, the Nexus 5 2015 will be slightly larger than the previous model which was also created by LG. The screen will measure 5.2-inch and will support a Full HD resolution – a bit disappointing, but that’s because LG didn’t want to increase the battery capacity too much. The phone will be powered by a 2700mAh battery, which was upgraded from 2500mAh and under the hood has been integrated a Snapdragon 808 SoC with a hexa core processor which will be backed by either 2GB or 3GB of RAM (the opinions are divided). The cameras, on the other hand, will be upgraded to 13MP and 5MP respectively.
The Nexus 5 2015 will come with Android Pay, Google’s new attempt to convince the users to make wireless and online mobile payments. The price of the new model will be around 350 dollars for the 32GB variant, while the 64GB variant will be 50 dollars more expensive.
